Adatto per gli edifici in cui la sicurezza deve essere applicata in maniera rigorosa, WGS-4215-16P2S è uno switch managed Wall-mount di grado industriale che offre una lista di controllo degli accessi (ACL) completa livello 2 a livello 4. Lo switch è in grado di limitare l’accesso alla rete rifiutando i pacchetti in base all’indirizzo IP di origine e di destinazione, alle porte TCP/UDP o a specifiche applicazioni di rete. Con questo modello di switch è possibile realizzare con facilità una rete strettamente controllata in pochissimo tempo.

WGS-4215-16P2S dispone di 16 porte 10/100/1000Mbps 802.3at PoE che possono erogare una alimentazione PoE sufficiente per 16 telecamere IP PoE contemporaneamente. Inoltre, con le 2 interfacce SFP 100/1000BASE-X, WGS-4215-16P2S può connettersi al core switch in fibra e inviare flussi video al NVR e al centro di monitoraggio. Mediante l’architettura switch ad alte prestazioni, WGS-4215-16P2S facilita il salvataggio, nei sistemi NVR, dei file video registrati dalle 8 telecamere IP PoE. Inoltre, i sistemi NVR possono essere controllati e monitorati sia dalla LAN locale che da remoto via Internet. Indubbiamente, questo modello di switch permette di realizzare un sistema di sorveglianza sicuro ad un costo totale inferiore.I due slot mini-GBIC integrati supportano moduli in fibra ottica a doppia velocità e rilevamento automatico SFP, 100BASE-FX e 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP, per uplink allo switch backbone e centro di controllo a lunga distanza. La distanza può essere estesa da 550 metri a 2km (fibra multimodale) e fino a 120km (fibra monomodale o fibra WDM).
Funzione controllo in tempo reale dei dispositivi alimentati
Lo switch può essere configurato per monitorare, in tempo reale, lo stato del dispositivo PD collegato, tramite azione ping. Se il PD smette di funzionare e di rispondere, lo switch riprende l’alimentazione della porta PoE (resettando la sorgente di alimentazione del PD) e riporta il PD in funzione, migliorando notevolmente l’affidabilità della rete e riducendo l’onere di gestione dell’amministratore.
