IGS-801T è dotato di 8 porte 10/100/1000Mbps con funzionalità auto MDI / MDIX, switch fabric non-blocking 16 Gbps e tabella degli indirizzi MAC da 8K. Lo switch può eseguire il trasferimento di pacchetti in wire-speed senza rischio di perdita di pacchetti. Le porte Gigabit, che supportano il pacchetto jumbo 9K, possono gestire grandi quantità di trasmissione dati in una topologia sicura collegata ad uno switch backbone o server ad alta potenza. Lo chassis compatto in metallo con grado di protezione IP30 è una soluzione ideale per le industrie pesanti.
