IGS-501T è dotato di un’architettura di switch ad alte prestazioni particolarmente adatta per uso industriale. Con le 5 porte Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Mbps con funzionalità di switch fabric non-blocking e throughput wire-speed fino a 10Gbps e tabella degli indirizzi MAC 2K, IGS-501T permette eseguire il trasferimento di pacchetti ad alta velocità senza rischio di perdita di pacchetti.
La funzione di controllo di flusso fornisce un trasferimento dati rapido ed affidabile. La porta Gigabit, con jumbo frame 9K supportato, può gestire quantità estremamente elevate di trasmissione dati in una topologia industriale sicura che inoltra i dati alla sala di controllo centrale.
